Flowers that Grow in Calgary

In the Natural Resources Canada section of the Government of Canada website, there is a page that lists all the flowers and plants that can grow in each Canadian city. Currently, there are 231 plants listed for Calgary. As one of the Calgary landscaping companies that specialized in landscape design, we are the people who will design your back yard and then construct those features. Often when choosing what vegetation to install, Calgary home owners have many choices. Trees, grasses, stones, and many many plant options. Below, are about 200 of the many plants that grow in Calgary as listed by Natural Resources Canada. We’re sure there are many more. We even notices a few in the above photo. One word of caution – some plants are poisonous to people and pets so always consult with an expert if you decide to do it yourself.
